The Randy Watson Experience
The Randy Watson Experience is a collaborative venture between two hip-hop/R&B musicians/record producers. ?uestlove, the drummer for The Roots, and keyboardist James Poyser (now a Roots member in his own right) have produced several tracks and remixes together under as "The Randy Watson Experience", named after the character in the 1988 film Coming to America. Their works include tracks for The Philadeliphia Experiment Remixed, Motown Remixed, and others.
The Randy Watson Experience contributed their rendition of "Morning Bell" to "Exit Music : Songs with Radio Heads", a Radiohead tribute album. They also contributed their version of "Can't Hide Love" by Earth, Wind and Fire for the tribute album, "Interpretations: Celebrating The Music of Earth, Wind & Fire". Read more on Last.fm.
